Through our Belgian partner CGK Group BVBA, Pittsburgh Corning Europe NV, one of the world leaders in the production of insulation from cellular glass, recently commissioned a fire resistant drum park for the storage of (flammable) hazardous substances in Tessenderlo. This is a drum park based on two ChemosaverTM model CS-D12E fire compartments with a fire resistance of 60 minutes. The drum park consists of two ChemosaverTM fire compartments placed parallel to each other, with a total storage capacity of 24 euro pallets and a work area fitted with a translucent roof. For optimal accessibility, the workspace is equipped with an overhead door including wicket door over the entire width and height. The project sum includes the engineering, construction file in accordance with the Buildings Decree, including a fire-resistance report, foundation plan/foundation load plan, project supervision by the Hiltra design engineer up to and including completion, and the assembly by the Hiltra assembly team on location.
