The PGS15 version from 2011 has been in use for a number of years. The new PGS15 has been published based on experience with this version and the latest state of the art. The update better complies with the desire to describe regulations as clearly as possible, so that differences of interpretation can be excluded. The new PGS15 also makes it possible to deviate from certain regulations by providing clear reasons for doing so. Two new levels of protection have also been added in the new PGS15: 2A and 4.
