Cooperation between Hiltra Barneveld b.v. and the Dutch practical school for construction and the environment a fact!

Soon, the Toezichtpraktijkschool (Supervision Practice School) will be established in Gouda. The practical school is the first real basic training for environmental, soil and building supervisors, permit issuers, policy officers and KAM coordinators of companies. In recent years, the government and the business community have invested in the knowledge of many employees whose daily work involves drawing up environmental and building permits or supervising these activities. In the Netherlands there are only courses in the field of legislation and regulations. The Praktijkschool offers a complete arsenal of all the solutions and technical installations that are common in the field of work, for the safe handling and storage of fire and environmentally hazardous substances.

In the training centre, Hiltra® Barneveld will exhibit various prefab fire-resistant storage systems, including F90 Labsaver® safety cabinets and F60 Bigsaver safety safes, for the (fire) safe storage of hazardous substances and gas cylinders in accordance with PGS 15. We will also provide a comprehensive presentation on the regulations in the PGS15:2011 version 1.0 guideline. During this presentation, the following topics will be discussed, among others:
- Task and purpose of PGS 15
- What are hazardous substances and how can you recognise them?
- Which substances are covered and which substances are not covered by the PGS 15.
- Regulations for on-site and off-site storage facilities.
- Fire resistance according to PGS 15.
