Segregated storage Chemicals ADR 8 for swimming pools

The water of swimming pools is disinfected with chemicals of ADR class 8. A common way is chlorine disinfection by sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach lye) with the addition of an acid (sulfuric acid). These chemicals are hazardous and, if used carelessly, can pose a risk to employees, the environment but also to fire safety. Storage of these substances therefore requires a careful approach. For proper and safe storage, Hiltra has a Bigsaver model BS1 fire compartment with a fire resistance of 60 minutes divided into two compartments for the separate storage of chlorine bleach lye and sulfuric acid. Do you also have questions about the proper storage of hazardous materials within your company? For advice and/or answers to your questions, feel free to contact us.
