The PGS15 regulations for the storage of hazardous substances prescribe a fire resistance of 60 minutes. In certain situations, a higher fire resistance is desirable, and this has therefore been the case for some time with our fire compartments of 90 and 120 minutes. In order to achieve an even higher level of safety, Hiltra, as the first manufacturer of prefab storage systems worldwide, introduces, in addition to 60, 90 and 120 minutes fire resistance, the so-called Globaltm fire compartments with a fire resistance of 180 minutes! A higher fire-resistance is available on request. In addition to being used as a PGS15 storage area for hazardous substances, Hiltra fire compartments (60-180 minutes) are also used as (prefab) technical areas, e.g. for plant and equipment construction. The compartments are standard available in different colours.
